I-league clubs going for South Asian talents hunt. With less than 8 games to be played in Hero I-League the January transfer window opens the path for young promising South Asian talents.
Current league leader Minerva Punjab FC will surely leave no stone unturned in their title chase. They have already signed Nepalese number one goalie Kiran Chemjong. Kiran, Nepal Journalists Forum (NSJF)’s Player of the Year 2017, came in to the light after his heroic three spot kick saves for Nepal against Macau that earned "AFC Solidarity Cup" title for Nepal. Kiran Chemjong played last season with TC Sports, Maldives. However, Monetary deal hasn't been revealed. Club announced the signing through social media.

Moreover, The next South Asian raising star Chencho Gyeltshen, Bhutan's all-time leading scorer, also currently plays for I-League side, Minerva Punjab FC.
Similarly, Nepal international Bimal Gharti Magar joins India's top division side Mohun Bagan. Earlier he was trained with Dutch, Belgian, Spanish & French clubs.
