Jigme Wangchuck Gold Cup 2019 resumes from this year. Started in 1987, Jigme Wangchuck Gold Cup, was on hold since 2006. The Gold Cup started from 11th of February and the finals will be played in 22nd February. 12 teams from Nepal, Bhutan and India will compete for the glory. All matches will be played at Phuentsholing, PSA ground. The first team to win the championship was from Janakpur, Nepal. Gaon sports association from India are the current titleholder, they won the cup in 2006.
