Nepal will face Malaysia in a international football friendly on 02 June 2019. Malaysia FA conformed this friendly through it's Facebook page. Nepal vs Malaysia match will be played on Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur on second of June, Nepali Time: 7:45 PM onward. Malaysia is preparing for the first round of FIFA world cup qualification. Nepal will later play it's next friendly match against Chinese Taipei on June 6.

Nepal's newly appointed head coach, Johan Kalin says "Both the friendly matches will be as a part of building and knowing the player and their performance". Nepal is the preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2020 Qualifiers. Kalin recently announced final 23 squad for upcoming friendlies. And some new faces also can be seen in the final squad.
23-man squad includes:
Goalkeepers: Kiran Chemjong, Alan Neupane, Bikesh Kuthu
Defenders: Biraj Maharjan, Saroj Dahal, Rajeen Dhimal, Suman Aryal, Ananta Tamang, Ajit Bhandari, Devendra Tamang, Ravi Silwal.
Midfielders/Forwards: Sunil Bal, Ravi Paswan, Sujal Shrestha, Bishal Rai, Rohit Chand, Bikram Lama, Santosh Tamang, Tej Tamang, Bimal Rana, Nawayug Shrestha, Abishek Rijal, Anjan Bista.

PS. Rohit Chand will be available in both the friendly match against Malaysia on June 2 and against Chinese Taipei on June 6. The Persija Jakarta released him for both the friendly match, earlier he was confirmed to play only against Chinese Taipei.
