Nepal international, Bimal Gharti Magar scored two brilliant goals helped TC Sports Club to win the title of Charity Shield 2019 against Foakaidhoo FC in a match played on Tuesday at National Football Stadium, Male. TC Sports side line Foakaidhoo FC by 4-2 on aggregate, in the first leg played on June 7 the match was ended 1-1 . TC Sports took a 1-0 lead in the 26th minutes and in the second half Faokaidhoo FC could't convert the penalty kick and later levelled a score in 59 minutes. Thereafter Bimal Gharti Magar scored two goals to secure the comfortable 3-1 victory. He scored his first goal and team's 2nd goal in the 71 minutes and in the 80 minutes he scored his 2nd and a team's third goal.
Champion of Dhivehi Premier League 18/19, TC Sports club recently signed Nepal's Internationla Bimal Gharti Magar for the new season.
Another international Kiran Chemjong will not be playing for TC sports in this year's Dhivehi Premier League as the club rescinded the contract owing to late arrival. Under his outstanding performance in the 2018/19 season TC Sports were able to Crown the Champion's of Dhivehi Premier League 18/19.
