Nepal National Football team will play its first match of the FIFA World Cup Round 2 Asian Qualifiers against Kuwait in Kuwait city on September 5, 2019. Earlier, Nepal was set to play a home match vs Kuwait on the same date but due to the unavailability of international stadium in Nepal, Now Nepal will play away match vs Kuwait in Kuwait city on the same date i.e September 5, 2019 after the Kuwait FA agreed to All Nepal Football Association's request to swap the fixtures.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has requested Kuwait FA, Chinese Taipei FA and Jordan FA to swap the home and away fixtures due to the unavailability of the stadium. All of these nation's FA has agreed the ANFA's request which means now Nepal will first play all of it's four away matches including vs Australia and later will host four home matches accordingly.

As for the home matches,
Nepal will play it's first home match against Kuwait on November 19 for which the ANFA is in talks with the National Sports Council to host the home matches itself in Nepal otherwise the neutral venue will be decided.
Nepal is grouped in Group-B with Australia, Jordan, Kuwait and Chinese Taipei in FIFA World cup 2022 round 2 Asian qualifiers.
