Three star club will not play in the 2019 edition of the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup. Three star club name wasn't in 8 teams name list who will be participating in the tournament. The tournament draw ceremony was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 11th October.
Three star club and East Bengal FC gave only verbal consent for the participation but missed out to make it into the final list. So, each clubs from Laos and Malaysia were selected for participation in the tournament. The tournament will kick off from 19th to 29th October in the port city next Saturday.
The Winner of the 2019 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup will be receiving $50,000. The runners-up will receive $25,000 while each participating team will get $10,000 as appearance money.
