Nepal Legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane to play Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 form Jamaica Tallawahs. Sandeep was signed by Jamaica Tallawahs for USD 130,000 following the CPL 2020 draft that was held on June 24 virtually. Tallawahs has won the CPL two times in 2013 and 2016 edition. Tallawahs were at the bottom of the league table during the last year edition with just 2 wins and 8 lost with 4 points in the league CPL 2019.
This will be the third edition Sandeep playing in the CPL tournament. Sandeep represented St, Kitts, and Nevis Patriots in CPL 2018 and Barbados Tridents in CPL 2019.
CPL 2020 will be played in Trinidad & Tobago from August 18 to September 10, 2020, behind closed doors due to the coronavirus Pandemic still on.
