Fifth round of World Cricket League Championship match between Nepal vs. Kenya is scheduled to be played on 11th and 13th of March (Falgun 28 & 30) at Kirtipur, Kathmandu Nepal.Nepal is currently at 6th position with 6 points having being played 8 matches out of which Nepal manages to register only 3 wins and 5 defeats. These 8 matches consist of 2 wins against Namibia played at Kirtipur, in Apr, 2016 and Lost 1 and won 1 match against Netherland played on August 2016. Similarly, Nepal fails to win both the match against Namibia earlier. Whereas, Kenya is at 5th position in the table from 4 win and 4 defeat. Nepal seems to be the favorite team in between these teams as it's been played in front of the home crowd. Both the teams haven't announced final squad for the match.
Nepal has a total of 6 matches to be played at World Cricket League Championship. i.e. 2 match each against Kenya, Hong Kong and UAE. Top 4 teams will qualify for 2018 ICC World Cup Qualifier in Bangladesh and the last 4 teams will be relegated to Division 2. The 50 over matches will be played from 9:30 am local time (3:45 GMT) and most probably Nepal Vs Kenya – ICC World Cricket League 2017 will be live telecast.
