Nepal on 14 May conducted the first round of elections in the 281 local units of three provinces 3, 4 and 6.This local polls, held after a gap of 20 years. As per the Nepal Election Commission 73% voter turnout in historic local polls in peaceful manner. However voting in 3 districts was scheduled later due to various obstacles. The date of second phase of election on provinces 1, 2, 5 and 7 is not fixed yet.
