Nepal vs India international football friendly match is scheduled to be on June 6 at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai. All India Football Association (AIFF) approach to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) for the friendly match after Lebanon pulled out of the scheduled friendly against India due to VISA Issues. Both teams are preparing for upcoming AFC Asian cup 2019 qualification. Nepal will face Yemen on June 13 in Halchowk Stadium, Kathmandu, Nepal. Whereas India will play against Kyrgyzstan in Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore on June 13 in AFC Asian cup 2019 qualification.

Having being already played 1 match each in AFC Asian cup 2019 qualification, Nepal Lost to Philippines 4-1 on away match and in a historical win Indian sideline Myanmar 1-0 on it's away match.
Nepal are grouped with Yemen, Tajikistan and Philippines in group F. India are grouped with Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar and Macau in group A.
