Nepal is placed in Group-B on 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC Second Round along with Australia, Chinese Taipei, Kuwait, and Jordan. So far Nepal have played five matches ( four away and one home match) out of which Nepal has only managed to win one away match against Chinese Taipei.
Nepal was supposed to play the remaining earlier however due to COVID 19 pandemic all the matches were postponed. Nepal will now host three matches against Australia, Chinese Taipei, and Jordan at Dasharath Rangasala in the month of October and November 2020.
ANFA has called up 34 players to be in national team camp. Moreover, all the have underwent PCR tests as well. Once the final reports are out, training will start from August 17 at Nepal Army HQ grounds.
